To create dry red wine Terre del Bruno, "Gorgoli", Toscana IGT, the producer uses a blend of two grape varieties - Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. Vineyard "Gorgoli" is divided at an altitude of about 400 meters above sea level. The average age of the vines is 16 years. Planting density - 3500-5000 vines per hectare. Harvesting is done manually when the berries reach the optimum ripeness level. Sangiovese harvested in the second half of September, Cabernet Sauvignon - in mid-October. At the winery, the fruits are separated from the ridges, delicately pressed and subjected to vinification. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 28 ° C. Maceration lasts 12-15 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place in steel tanks and lasts until the end of December. Wine is aged for 18-20 months in new barrels of American and French oak. After bottling, the wine rests for 6-7 months in bottles in the cellars of the winery. The annual production volume is 9000 bottles. "Terre del Bruno" (from the Italian "Land of Bruno") - a line of excellent wines dedicated to the beloved grandfather of the owners of the company, Bruno Boneca, from whom they studied winemaking. All wines are produced using traditional technologies, but using innovative high-tech equipment. They perfectly reflect the terroir of the area and will appeal to a wide range of connoisseurs of quality wines.
